Explore characterization by adding a custom sprite to reflect my course experience. A design change from yellow to purple to “cool down” the value contrast and reference the After Effect icon’s native purple color. As a personal sub-assignment, utilize 6 transition techniques of (in order of appearance) morph, dynamic zoom, match cut, cut on action, dissolve and hard cut.

Goal

This was the final assignment within School of Motion’s Animation Bootcamp. The asset designs, voice over and music sample were provided by School of Motion. Utilizing all of the techniques and principles taught across the course, I was tasked to animate this 1-minute explainer video. The following work is speculative and created for educational purposes.
